Here are my (Baseman’s) current weapon build recommendations for Warzone. Personally I’m not a fan of the Black Ops series and their weapons. I’ve always been a fan of the Modern Warfare series and find the other editions to be just boring and not fun to play.
However, I will add builds for the Black Ops: Cold War weapons if I find someone I like and unlock the necessary attachments for them that I want to use.
The king of the snipers. This has the fastest bullet speed in the game using the build showed above.
HDR
You can choose between the perks Fully Loaded and Focus.
Swiss K31
This is the most powerful sniper and in my opinion currently the best one. A strong contender to Kar98k and you can use 7 round ammunition without any penalty to ADS speed.
Kar98k
A good reliable sniper. Similar to SP-R 208 and Swiss K31. This is the recommended build.
SP-R 208
Another good reliable sniper. Similar to both the Kar98k and Swiss K31.
LW3 Tundra
Another strong sniper in the same league as the famous HDR and ZRG 20mm.
AX-50
The AX-50 is a slightly worse HDR with the only redeeming factor being a 20% faster rate of fire. You can choose between the following perks: Fully Loaded and Focus.
Rytec AMR
I really like the explosive bullets, but you can remove that to use normal bullets and instead increase ADS with Rear Grip using Stippled Grip Tape.
Assault rifles
AS VAL
This hybrid build has the fastest time to kill of all weapons. Pair this with the SPR 208 sniper and you should be shredding out there.
AK-47 (Cold War)
This build gives you almost no recoil and a very stable and reliable AR.
CR-56 Amax
This weapon has the second fastest time to kill out of all the assault rifles, yet not many people use it. The recommended optic are the VLK 3.0x for that hidden 10% reduction in horizontal and vertical recoil but the choice here is really yours. You can use whatever scope you want within reason.
Fara 83
This gun feels like a hybrid between an AR and SMG. A very good and reliable gun which will win you most close and medium fights.
Kilo 141
The recommended optic are the VLK 3.0x for that hidden 10% reduction in horizontal and vertical recoil but the choice here is really yours. You can use whatever scope you want within reason. This weapon already have a really low recoil so choose whatever scope you like.
Grau 5.56
You can replace the optic with TAC laser if you prefer it without optics. The recommended optic are the VLK 3.0x for that hidden 10% reduction in horizontal and vertical recoil but the choice here is really yours. You can use whatever scope you want within reason.
M4A1
Recommended secondary to a sniper. The recommended optic are the VLK 3.0x for that hidden 10% reduction in horizontal and vertical recoil but the choice here is really yours. You can use whatever scope you want within reason.
RAM-7
Recommended secondary to a sniper. The recommended optic are the VLK 3.0x for that hidden 10% reduction in horizontal and vertical recoil but the choice here is really yours. You can use whatever scope you want within reason.
M13
This M13 build has low recoil and is a long range beast. The recommended optic are the VLK 3.0x for that hidden 10% reduction in horizontal and vertical recoil but the choice here is really yours. You can use whatever scope you want within reason.
ODEN
This is already a pretty good weapon so you can change the optic to your preferred choice. You can use whatever scope you want within reason.

Fennec
The best 1v1 SMG in the game with the fastest time to kill. Recommended secondary to a LMG or sniper.
ISO
The latest SMG in the game. Recommended secondary to a LMG.
UZI
A fun little hybrid build of UZI for close and mid range fights. The canted hybrid optic allows you to switch between close and ranged battles, annoying for your enemies.
PP-19 Bizon
Probably one of my favourite SMG in the game. Stable, accurate and reliable in long fights against several opponents due to the large ammunition size it has by default. Try it out.
P90
Another one of those reliable SMG which just destroy your opponents in close combat. This SMG has never let me down.
AUG
The AUG feels almost like an hybrid between an assault rifle and a SMG. This was a meta for a long time until it got fixed.
Striker 45
Haven’t seen many people using this SMG, but it’s actually really good. Stable and reliable. You should try it out and see if it fits your playstyle.
CX-9
Latest SMG added and here is my build. I would use this together with an AR or LMG. It’s not so good as a sniper support. You could swap out the laser with a perk instead.
LMG
FiNN
The latest addition to Warzone. This build shreds. Might change the build after testing it some more with other attachments.
PKM
Since the Bruen MK9 has been nerfed two times I believe the PKM will be the LMG of choice in Warzone. This is the only LMG strong enough to take down veichles using less than half of its magazine.
Bruen MK9
Even though it’s been nerfed two times it is still a good gun, just learn to control that newly added recoil to this build and you’ll be fine.
SA-87
This SA-87 build is extremely similar to the RAM-7 in damage and range. The bonus is that you get more bullets which means you can take down two players more before reloading (if you hit every shot).
Holger-26
A stable and reliable LMG. Heavy hitter and manageable recoil.
Shotguns
Origin 12
If you’re in Downtown or other places where you’ll end up fighting people at close range this is the most fun weapon use in those situations. It shreds your enemies to pieces faster than they can react.
R9-0
Another shotgun alternative which is sick, but be sure to hit your mark with both shots. Those being shot by this build will experience aim punch, blurred screen, on fire with burning overlay, massive beams of light all over the screen and if they try to run away they can’t sprint due to the disabling rounds.
Pistols
.50 GS
One of the few guns I really like in the game. And I like the gold look.
Syklov
A fun gun which you can build into a hybrid becoming a mini automatic SMG with 80 round magazine. It’s just insane.
